3 Step Charging - Bulk Charge: 40 Amp/14.7V - 8 Hours, Absorption: 14.7V, Float Charge: 13.6V Fully Automatic Current Limited Output 40 Amperes Maximum Output Ideal for Daily Battery Charging No Water Boil-Off     The Auto Charge ODY Charger is a compact, completely automatic battery charger designed specifically for recharging the Odyssey sealed lead acid battery. Of rugged construction, the charger is made to withstand the shock and vibration encountered in vehicle mounted equipment. Utilizing the 3-step charging cycle and the protocol required by the Odyssey or similar sealed lead acid batteries, this charger will rapidly recharge the battery. Initially the discharged battery is recharged at a constant current (bulk charge). As the terminal voltage rises, the controller switches to a constant voltage (absorption or finish charge) until the output current drops below a predetermined point. At this point the output voltage switches to the float level and the battery is maintained. An 8 hour timer is provided to automatically switch the charger to the float mode. Five LED indicators are provided to indicate the various states in which the charger is operating.
