Numerous significant changes occurred at Kussmaul in the recent months, all directed at improving your total satisfaction with our brand and products. New initiatives and benefits are now in place and ready to enhance your Kussmaul experience. As a reflection of this new era, the logo and slogan were updated as shown above, signifying the ‘energized’ changes to the management team, product line, and service commitment which are outlined below:
New Leadership
Tom Nugent, who has 30 years of Kussmaul engineering and product development experience, took the reigns as President earlier this year. In recent months Tom reinforced the company’s core values of quality product and service, and launched a renewal of the brand. The management team was also realigned with greater customer focus. Mike Guzman, a 10 year Kussmaul veteran, was promoted to Director of Sales.
Expanded Product Line
Kussmaul recently joined forces with Newmar, a California based electronics Company. Newmar’s emergency vehicle products are now integrated with the Kussmaul line, expanding your selection of electrical products, including: Battery Chargers, Inverters, Solar panels, Custom Distribution Panels, Meters, and numerous Installation Accessories, making Kussmaul your largest single source of emergency vehicle electrical components.

Regional Sales Representatives
An energized and experienced sales team was recruited trained and are now deployed.
Colin Chambless covers accounts East of the Mississippi chambless@kussmaul.com, Brian Scott, West of the Mississippi Scott@Kussmaul.com, and Shaun Salvino, Southern California ShaunS@kussmaul.com. They, along with our experienced internal sales / customer service team members, are eager to work with you on your product applications and assist with any questions.
Three Day Repair Commitment
Product service functions are now streamlined providing rapid turn around of repairs within 3 days after receipt, with option for same day repair if needed.
New Product Development
An expanded product development team is committed to designing new products that enhance emergency vehicle operation, safety, and readiness. Many new projects are in process and scheduled for presentation at FDIC. The design team is open to your input and welcomes product suggestions for vehicle electrical systems.
West Coast Facility
A Kussmaul West Coast office and warehouse is now located within our sister company Newmar, in Santa Ana California. Sales support functions and a select group of products are now available from this location.
